  1. Not the first time, but I was a kid raising chickens. I just got a dozen 2 week old chicks. So eggs next spring. How big of a coop should I get ot make?

    1. The standard answer is 2 to 3 square feet per bird in the coop and 3 to 6 square feet in a run. Enough room is really important, otherwise they will pick on each other and they may suffer from other health problems.

  2. All these prizes are amazing, and would be so beneficial for new chicken owners such as myself

  3. We’re moving into our dream house an 1840 Greek revival with 4.5 acres. We had a small flock before and were very successful with egg laying and keeping them healthy, safe and well fed. These products would be great!

    1. I started recently with three hens and one rooster. We are suddenly being surprised with one to two eggs per day from the three hens . Once I get the permanent henhouse completed , we will increase to 10 hens . So far so good ! A nice freebie care package would be VERY helpful , for sure !

  4. We have 33 in our flock now. Just lost one of our girls to the heat (115°) last week. The giveaway would be very helpful. We’ve spent many bucks trying to keep them cool. Our babies are very good to us and we love to take care of them.

  5. We are just about to set up for chickens. We need to build a coop and run area. Don’t want free range as we have a coyote problem in our area. Any suggestions on suggested start up number of chicks, a good pre-made coops as starter, etc? We plan to start with older chicks.

  6. I have only 25 at the moment will be at 50 by sept when my order is processed. Could deffently use the help for my chickens.

  7. 19 hens and 4 roosters (2 in separate pen). Hens are free range during the day. We’re retired and any of these prizes would be a godsend. Love our ladies but they are definitely more expensive than we thought they would be.

  8. Our chickens, 13 girls and1 very proud rooster, love listening to classical music on their own radio.
Have you ever considered adding a chicken radio to your prize packages?

  9. Most of my flock is rescues I have one girl that’s now 6 years old and still the boss she could use some snacks the other 8 are from one month to 5 years

  10. This is a fantastic opportunity to try these products and make descisions going forward as to which ones would become repeat purchases.

  11. What a great find this page is for me right now. We’re fairly new to raising chickens. We’ve had great success the past 3 years hatching and raising quail. This year decided to try chicken and duck as I’ve read they live together happily. So far so good. We are up to about 20 hen 1 rooster and 4 ducks ( 2 male 2 female) was searching answers to an eye condition my beloved Rudy Roo ( rooster ) seems to have developed this week. Ended up here ! So happy to have found you all !!!!
