My neighbor has a hen that is about 7-8 months old and just noticed her beak is split in half. Is there anything she can do to help her? She is not sure when or how this happened, and currently trying to find out if she is eating or drinking yet?
I tried to paste a picture of her beak but was unable to load it.
Kindly,
Renée Lenzi
Hello
I have a one-year-old Barred Cochin rooster with very inflamed red skin around both legs at the feather entry point. No injuries, cuts, or anything like that.
He could not put weight on his legs, so I put him on soft bedding and gave him daily Epsom salt baths, which he enjoys and has helped. He is happy, walking better now, and engaging with the hens. Do you have any idea of what this might be? I will try to attach photos of his legs from a few days ago. Thank you in advance for your help.
