    1. Probably just a molt. It’s that time of year here in Florida. Chickens will start laying and stop laying throughout the year depending upon what’s going on. Healthy, sick, stressed out. Etc…

  1. I have to agree with molt but also time change and weather/temperatures affect their laying. As for age, I have an almost 5 year old bantam Showgirl that still lays a weekly egg with colder temperatures. When it was warmer back in September, she was laying 3-5 eggs weekly. I have 3 1/2 year old sexlinks that still lay up to 4 eggs a week.
